My name is Daniela von Waberer, and I look forward to hearing from you!
We can converse in German, English or Spanish.
I am an art therapist with a depth-analytic approach, and I am also a visual artist.

I studied painting and sculpture at the art academies in Munich and Berlin (UdK), graduating with an MFA.
After a few years as a freelance artist I completed an MA in art therapy at the Berlin Weissensee School of Art.
From 2013 to 2023 I worked as a part-time art therapist at the Clinic for Pediatric Psychiatry, Psychosomatics and Psychotherapy at the Charité Berlin.

Since 2016 I work as a lecturer in the Mastercourse 'art therapy' at the Berlin Weißensee school of Art.

I have experience of art therapy with adult prisoners.
For many years I gave ongoing art courses and led open studios in various workshops for disabled people in Berlin.

I am currently training as a group analyst at the Berlin Institute of Group Analysis.

I am a non-medical practitioner of psychotherapy according to the Non-medical Practitioners Act and a member of the Professional Association for Art Therapy (DFKGT).

A former patient's review:

Frau von Waberer created a safe space for me where I was able to work through, uncover, and reconsider deeply rooted and sometimes challenging topics within myself. The creative work with clay, pastels, oil paint, and more was simply a lot of fun, but above all, the images became doors to my inner world—sometimes surprising, sometimes initially puzzling. Over time, recurring themes emerged, which we discussed and worked through together. Frau von Waberer was always very attentive and empathetic, offering impulses without ever forcing anything. Her appreciative and open manner made it easy for me to engage in the process and gain a deeper understanding of myself.” M.G. January 2025
